-Find the highligted items in NST and cut and paste them on manjong paper or scrapbook.

my world....my career

i love teaching....my passion is there....eventhough got a licence to practise ..i gave up my work as a legal assistant after practised for about 2 years at 3 different places....my nature and character offered me no choice except resigned for the high profile class of career to the humble down to earth teacher teaching the primary pupils.....after thrice application through KPLI !...sigh....the interviewer no other than keep on asking why didn't I practise and be a lawyer ?....sad to say.....i tried but i failed to achieve my own expectation through this job!...now i have been teaching for about 7 years...i managed to get the PC....pencapaian cemerlang in year 2009...alhamdulilah ..like i said before my world is here with my lovely pupils ....i able to savour their desire to learn and i felt satisfied imparting my knowledge to them......

new method of learning from NST part 1:

NEWSPAPER TRAIL or scavenger hunts are always a great hit in the English classroom with students of all proficiency levels. Not only do they perk up waning interest in a lesson, they can also be used to start the English period as a set induction depending on the content of the lesson of the day-

The news trail 1: Find the highlighted items in the NST and cut and paste on manjong paper or scrap book.

1. Cut out letters from the NST and make two new word from it.
2. Look for a picture with a caption carrying  the name of a well known or important person.
3. Cut out an advertisement for a product you can use in your home.
4. Look for an article that talks about children and cut out the headline.
5. Go through the Entertainment section and cut out the lead paragraph of the main news story.
6. Go through the whole paper and look for a TV listing.
7. Cut out the news in brief and mark all the words you dont know. Then search for meanings of each in the dictionary and write them.

my home sweet home....Anjung Seri nabila

nama sempena anak sulungku......anjung nape ya?....bukan teratak ke pondok ....tapi anjung ...yes definitely sebab my house telah mengalami 3 kali renovation dan keempat mungkin menyusul lagi tapi tak tahu bila ..mungkin ada rezki lebih....anjung atau ada serambi di rumah saya tempat lepak2....rumah asalnya dibeli dari seseorang yang ingin menjual setelah diduduki selama 6 thn ....ya ..rumahku bukan rumah baru tetapi second hand punya...perasaan tidak sabar utk mempunyai rumah mengatasi segala-galanya biarpun tidak seindah yang diimpikan...sudah takdir aku dan famili memilih rumah ini sebagai tempat kami berteduh....alhjamdulilah semakin lama semakin sesuai rumah ini dengan diriku....balik dari sekolah tempat inilah menjadi perteduhan dan berahat kami.....biarpun kecil tapi ia adalah lambang cinta kami yang tersergam indah sekarang ini....hehe...hasil kreativiti suami yang tercinta bertindak sebagai designer....kini rumah sudah berubah totally.....

fully breastfeed boy who is the toughest boy in the house! like superman......si kenit yang paling hensem tapi tersangatlah aktif..habis rusak barang2 mama....simpan sepah...simpam sepah....tak suka susu lain nak yang tu jee....penat n super tired dibuatnya...he's the big boss now...controlling everything...cian abang...asek kena buli jee......takpelah ijat sabar orangnya.......jaim suka sangat meniru perbuatan kakak dan abangnya....very good in imitating!.....tapi kena ajar ngan lemah lembut....kalu tak siap suka melawan....3 karakter anak yang berbeza..masing2 dengan kelebihan dan kekurangan masing2.........syukur pada ilahi atas kurniaan ini.....hanya kesabaran dan doa dari mama dan papa untuk anak-anak mama.....:)

prematured boy.....50-50 doctor said before.....alhamdulilah......now 35kg at the age 8  years old! how big my boy ....43 days in incubator unable to breastfed only drank via tube....1 kg at that moment.......mama always prayed for yur health....he's the one in the family with cool heart and with good manner eventhough not so good like k.long in academic but then very good in management of himself! likeable his mom , likes to manage time and things....always helping mum in the kitchen....cleaning and sweeping...doing the chores and my heart melted...with his words and manner.....hoping for the best in ijat and his achivement lately....mama, ijat wanna to be like k.long excelled in the classroom...macammana nak naik kelas 3 A?...cam k.long...ya ke ijat...bagus dah ada keinginan tu.....self awareness is important! ijat kena dapat no 10 ke bawah...so kena focus and pay a lot of attention during class hour..kay!

azreen nabila azali (k.long the angry bird)

my eldest daughter was born in 2002....a year after the marriage....3.4kg after subuh in HUSM....she is my princess, my sweetheart, my angel, my hope and my love......azreen nabila ....beautiful name from her papa....NABILA   the noble and AZREEN the combination name papa and mama....is a brilliant girl...able to read at the age of four -i'm proud of her...but a "little' stubborn and a bit lazy !......good in IQ but less in EQ....so pity...waaaa!.....everyday, every moment....she always make me high in temperature!....k.long simpan baju dlm bakul! k.long masukkan socks dlm baldi! ......yg simple-simple one but she 's still buat the same things...suka sepahkan her things and tak pandai mengemas....how i envy those daughters yang sangatlah pandai mengemas atau menyusun ..in simple words yang rajin!....mama tak minta apa-apa long just minta long rajin ckit jee....memang belajar top ten selalu dapat nombor satu in her class...! please k.long ....you're the role model of your siblings!....adakah ini salah ibu mengandung?........character k.long ni a bit kasar ckit....garang ngan adik beradik, moody teramat sangat.....tetapi pernah terfikir anak-anak adalah cerminan ibubapak......sigh :(.........

en. suami aka my best fren forever bff....

yup ! would like to introduce my loved one....he is my best fren forever aka my mentor ,consultant, stimes enemy..hihi.....he's the one who will listen to  my problem , comforting me during sadness, encouraging me when i upset , scolding me for my wrongdoings, cooling down me when anger striked, loving me in whereever n whenever i need.....my banker , my manager, my tutor, and my assistant in the kitchen....hihi..:).......he can be anybody i want ....he's not perfect....but complete my life>>....I met him during my chambering days at aziz derashid & co..we met through phone...hihi the history began when one day he got the number from my 'fren'....for sure my fren was coming from nowhere ...it really surprised thait i just met this fren during my way to the chambering office , at the bus stop i met this beautiful young lady, i hardly remembered her name but she was from the same village where i was staying...at that moment i stayed at my granny's house in Lundang.....we met and became friend and i gave her my contact number......after tha the history began .....she wrote down my name in her diary and went to the office.......she worked at the tourism office as one of the receptionist.....soon after that this man i mean my hubby appeared at her office waiting for his friend....flicked her diary as usual young man...noticed my number .....asked who's number is this and who is she..blablabla...after considering all little information and without hesitation asked my number kindly for making new friend....hahaha....a flirting man?!.....I demanded his explaination why on earth he did that....he admitted that he was searching for soul mate not for flirting reason....reason accepted.....we became friend after that.....not long after that... about six months.....we got married...on 23rd of May 2001 a year after i succed read in chamber.....and life began as mrs AZALI YAACOB......blessed with 3 kiddos......alhamdulilah :)

my life style

i love simple life...i ni sederhana orangnya..serba serbi sederhana....baru loni ada taste ckit....tupun terpengaruh ngan kengkawan dan persekitaran....nak buat camne family background kot...ayah dan ma tak ajar bermewah..lagipun i'm the eldest in de famili so kena byk berkorban ...adik2 didahulukan...tetapi alhamdulilah biarpun ayah seorang kerani biasa dululah tapi kini CC...i'm proud of you ,yah!.....n my mum is fully housewife yang kerjanya asek memasak sbb cita2 nak jadi chef tapi tak gi sekolah dapurlah tempat kerjanya until now..but they all my inspiration!....berbalik pada lifestyle ni,,saya baru nak taste something branded at the age 35. nak tau apadia let me senaraikan....handbag....dah specific pada jenama bonia.....wakaka.....kasut-bata  yg lain tak comfortable......jam...alba/bonia....tudung...ariani..kihkih.....baju dah pakai yg lining harga rm100 ke atas.....hehe..makeup..simplysiti...sesuai..!tak naik jerawat....itulah seadanya....that's a new me!........dulu tak kisah sgt pakai apa yang ada....tapi bila sekali fikir i nikan wanita kerjaya..mesti uptodate ckit......! jgn bimbang tak membazir..kasut/bag/makeup/..pakai setahun you....baju n tudung sebulan sekali......hahaha.......................:)

masa luangku...

hari-hari yangku lalui bersama anak-anakku sehari-hari......dari balik sekolah hinggalah ke petang menunggu en.suami pulang dari kerja....bayangkan bersama anak2 yang sedang aktif......habis rumah yang siap dikemas dikembahnya.....what to say....menyirap gak darah melihat rumahku yang berselerak......sabar!sabar!....mereka masih kecil biarkanlah rumah tuu....tak kemana....kata-kata itu terngiang-ngiang di telingaku.....alhamdulilah.......aku masih bersabar.....kadang tu terlepas juga cubitan dan terbabas juga kata2...ya allah ampunilah dosa-dosaku...anak2 adalah pinjaman dan amanah Allah .

masak2

hobi memasak adalah hobiku terkini.....disamping melayan keletah ketiga-tiga anakku.Gembira pabila mendengar permintaan anak yang menyuruh mama masak lagi...dan lagi....Kepuasan jelas terpamer di wajahku bila dapat menyediakn airtangan buat seisi keluarga.......no more buying!..itulah tekadku terkini pabilaa mengenangkan susah payah papa menjadi pelanggan setia kedai makan bila tiba waktu makan.....no more excuse!......dulu asyik memperkatakan kesibukan diri menghalang itu semua. Berkat time management....aku kini mempunyai banyak masa lagipun kerjayaku sebagai guru membolehkan aku menyediakan masakan seperti yang diinginkan......no more laziness!...ya aku sedikit malas bila bab memasak ni dek kerna kurang pendedahan disamping faktor ada masakan ibu sedia terhidang pabila balik dari kerja....tapi sampai bila bergantung pada keringat ibuku....i need to change!....aku mula berjinak2 dengan buku masakan dan internet menjadi sumber rujukan utamaku.....aku juga terkesan dengan effort one of my dear fren yang studied dekat oversea....macam2 masakan yang terhidang hasil airtangannya dan juga my gojes fren dkat facebook yang kerja sampai petang but still cook for the famili....masyaallh i really impressed......from that day i keep on masak though tak pandai sangat..trial n error I can say.......
